The Great Pyramids of Giza

The Pyramids of Giza are great majestic stone structures. They've been around longer than Mr. Coleman! That's pretty old. But seriously, they've been around more than 4,000 years!

But why would anyone build something so big, and so long lasting? Two reasons. The pyramids were built for pharaohs. Pharaohs were considered as Gods, so naturally they would have something big and huge to be put in when they die. Also, they wanted to be remembered as great and powerful. What better way than to build a huge and massive pyramid!

Now the only question left is how? How did they build the pyramids? No one really knows. Only time will tell I guess.
